The Challenge
Across Africa, women and girls face systemic barriers to education, economic participation, leadership, and equal rights. Gender inequality is not just a social injustice, it is a development crisis. When half of a community is excluded from opportunity, no community can reach its full potential.
Our Response
We create tangible economic opportunities for women, build their leadership capacity, advocate for their equal participation in all aspects of society, and work to dismantle the barriers, financial, social, cultural, and legal, that hold them back. We believe that investing in women is one of the highest-return development strategies available.
