The Challenge
Too many development programs are designed without evidence of what actually works. Too many evaluations are commissioned to satisfy donor reporting requirements rather than to genuinely improve programs. Too much valuable knowledge sits in PDF reports on office shelves, never used to inform the decisions that matter. The result is wasted resources, missed opportunities, and communities that deserve better.
Our Response
We invest in rigorous research, systematic monitoring and evaluation, and active knowledge sharing to ensure that every program we run, and every program our partners run, is evidence-based and continuously improving. We also generate original research on development challenges in Africa and share findings publicly, because knowledge shared is impact multiplied.
