Education, Skills & Youth Development

Equipping young people for a changing world.

We expand access to quality learning and help young people build the digital, technical, entrepreneurial and leadership skills they need to participate fully in education, work and society.

The Challenge

Access to school is not the same as access to opportunity.

Africa has made important progress in expanding school enrolment, yet millions of children and young people still lack access to quality education. In many settings, learning outcomes remain low, while young people are entering labour markets that are changing faster than traditional education systems can respond.

Youth unemployment continues to rise, and the rapid digitalisation of the global economy risks widening the gap for young people who have not had access to relevant digital, technical and employment-ready skills.

Education must do more than keep young people in school. It must help them build a future.

Our Response

Learning that connects to real opportunity.

We work to expand access to quality education, strengthen learning systems and prepare young people for success in a fast-changing world.

Our approach goes beyond the classroom. We combine learning support with digital literacy, technical and vocational education, entrepreneurship, leadership development and teacher capacity building — helping young people build both the knowledge and practical skills they need to navigate education, employment and enterprise.
